Ds2 Bless him, 'kinda dumped his girlfriend'

She kept holding her hand out so that he would hold it. And made him do things he didnt want to. He is 10.

He wrote me a note to tell me but donesn't want to talk about it.

Said I was proud of him for not doing things he didnt want to.

Aren't girls forward these days

DS1 had a very bossy one when he was about 12; hasn't had one since until now (5 years later in fact!) when he has a very sweet one. So fingers crossed, beety

I told him to make sure sheknew she was dumped otherwise someone else would say something to her.

He sent her a text and I Said be nice to her, say you just want to be friend !!!
Thats it for life now, he is going to dump girls by telling them he wants to be freinds and it is all my fault

Poor little girl only wanted to hold hands . You'll turn him into a commitment phobe! Ah they get so embarassed at that age don't they? My DS aged 5 is already avoiding kissing me goodbye at school because his friends rib him about it.

Love the note saying he didn't want to talk about it. Bless.

DS2 has a lttle girl in his class pursuing him. She made sure he won pass the parcel at her party before Christmas. Shockingly forward IMO.

He seems most unimpressed though (he's not yet 5!).

DS1 is 4y3m. He has been engaged three times. His current fiancee just came back from a long holiday in Oz. He'd just about decided to marry someone else by the time she got back.

He doesn't seem to ever dump them though. Just changes who he'll marry. Nobody seems to get upset about any of it. Seems like a good system.

dd2 has an admirer. She occasionally refers to him as her "boyfriend" but is quite cool about the whole thing. He writes her lots of love letters with pink hearts on them (he must spend ages on them) saying how much he likes her, and he bought her a Christmas present too!

d has boyf's to. For ds2 this is the first real girlf, not that they did much other than chat on msn.

Ds1 (just 5) had a huge crush on a friend's older sister (8) last summer. He saw her at a b'day party and it was love. He saw her after that at school and used to say "That's Charlotte, she doesn't see me". Sob, my poor heartbroken invisible-to-his-lady-love boy. Charlotte and family have moved to Japan now, so I think ds1 realises she's out of his life. He still mentions her sometimes, tho. He also did an awful lot of macho showing off (tickling her neck, diving in the mud, etc) in front of the elder Inferiorette a couple of weeks ago, but I think she was unimpressed.

Inferiorette#1 is already developing a cool attitude towards blokes. Was slightly worried when she started school dinners that the chap sitting next to her would want to kiss her, but I reckon her capacity for ingesting staggering quantities of institutional stodge put him off

Well, at least they tried to be nice! I've been dumped by brutally honest blokes - one said I wasn't very entertaining, and another just said "It's over really, isn't it?". I reckon beetroot's ds will grow up to be much nicer with his early training!

Do you recxkon Wilbur. I feel a bit guilty ecasue it so cliched. But you cannot be honest at 10..well actually I think that is what he wants...but I think she is gutted. She has not beenaround on msn or mobile all day.

He totally eliminate dher from hs life. Deleted all pictures and everyhing.

My dd (5, nearly 6) is quite matter-of-fact about the boy she is going to marry, who is also 5/6 at the moment, but we had a difficult and poignant moment last week when she was crying in bed at night because although she wanted to amrry, she didn't want to leave Mummy and Daddy!

I said, "That's all right, you can stay with us as long as you like, as long as you cook us the occasiona meal" at which she wailed even louder, "But I don't know how to cook!"

I friend told me his neice (6yrs old) had a boyfriend, he asked her about him and she said she had finished with him. He asked why and she said 'oh it was all getting so complicated and serious'
