I'm in trouble!

Have an assignment to hand in in the 4th of Jan, I haven't started it yet.
This was a conscious decision as was really busy at work in the lead-up to Christmas and obviously very busy at hone too.
I've taken the next 3 days as Annulal leave (didn't realise the dcs were still off school for all of them!) in order to start and finnish this assignment.
DH finanly took the dcs out for the day, I sit down to study only to find I can't access the course website from mine, or DH's pc!
It's a distance-learning Masters course, so basically if I can't access the site I'm fucked!

Why can't you access the website?

Can you work out why you can't access it? Have you used these computers before for access?
Any other avenues open to you? Is the tutor available to speak to?
I hope it all resolves itself soon.

Just keep getting an "Internet Exploere cannot display the webpage" message. No connection problems on home pc or Dh's laptop.
Must be a problem with the site.

Could you try another browser? Mozilla Firefox or Opera, perhaps?

I don't know how to.
DH is the IT literate one, he works in a IT role but he's out with the DCs on an expedition.

It's quite easy, simply google 'mozilla firefox download' and you'll find the page. You then follow the installation instructions. Once it's installed you can try and access the page you want.

Otherwise, as suggested above, are you able to get in touch with the uni and/or your tutor to explain?

Whilst following your very helpful intructions Onesunny and waiting for firefox to install on pc I was fiddling arounfd on laptop and on the Uni log-in page, at the bottom, was a "if having difficulty" link, I clicked that and I'm in!
Was hoping to have done a few hours work by now - don't think I've got a cat in hells chance of finnishing by midnight on the 4th!
