I could not get on with it at all and my DD hated it. I passed it on to my SiL and she was not keen either. I bought a didymos wrap in the end which we both loved.

0 out of 5. Returned it & bought a Close Carrier, which was excellent.

I really liked it and still use it for ds at a big 18 months. I don't use a sling all the time though.

oops - sorry!

i had it for ds1 but didnt like it. i am not much of a sling person though but i did try close carrier for ds2 and that was a lot better even though i didnt use that v much either, but i wouldnt recommend baba sling much ds didnt seem very comfy and with it being over one shoulder it will get uncomfy and heavy if they get bigger i think. close carrier is quite good

HelloShitty · 31/12/2011 19:57

I had one when DS was newborn and loved it. However, at 6 months I bought a mei-tai, and then realised what I'd been missing. Much more comfortable for both you and baby.

HelloShitty · 31/12/2011 19:58

oh, and we still use it now that he's 2 and a bit. Can't imagine still wearing him in the BabaSling now.

poppycat04 · 31/12/2011 19:59

I love mine. Used it from birth with DS3, now progressed on to an Ergo (even better).
People seem to love them or hate them. Good resale value on EBay I've heard though.

Had long birth and found carrying difficult with this as it had poor back support. You want the weight to support evenly over your back. I found the closer sling a lot better.

I loved it for DC1 who slept in it a lot. DC2 less keen but was a bigger baby. Positioning was a bit tricky though. I found it better for the first six months or so, after which I switched to my Close carrier and Patapum.
