i'm not looking forward to getting rid of the last of our baby stuff. i sold some stuff on ebay for christmas and was really sad to post it all off. the money helped though!

I think its normal to feel like that. Its your maternal instinct kicking in. DC4 is due in 2 weeks and I am determined to get rid of all the baby stuff this time as this pregnancy has been horrid and I never want to do it again! Still gonna have a sob when it does all go to charity though!

I gave ds's cot away on freecycle with a lump in my throat. About, ooooh, 6 months before getting pg again. I do think if I had a giant loft or a shed I'd not get rid of any baby things. It's too much of a wrench. I hadn't realised how many of his clothes I'd kept til I went searching the giant boxes under his bed Blush

I keep on putting off getting rid of our ds's bay things!

ATM BIL and SIL are TTC (and have been for a very long time unfortunatley) so I have that as an excuse. I really hoping that 2012 brings them some luck and we can dump pass on lots of things to them. For some reason I think I'd find that easier than selling it on to strangers.

IwishIwasmoresparkly · 01/01/2012 21:41

That should be Baby things - sorry!

DashingRedhead · 01/01/2012 23:16

Thanks folks - I really couldn't have another, I think it would finish me off, but I do like babies. I always have. Long before I had my own. Still, DS is a very cute toddler. I just wish he would sleep better, but that's nothing to do with cot/bed situation...
