Advice about teatime/bedtime routine for 1 year old?

My dd is 1 and currently goes to bed to bed around 6.30 with 210mls of formula. Think I need to switch her to cows milk now and probably start giving her a proper dinner, rather than the larger lunch and small dinner she currently has. Could anyone tell me what sort of dinners you give/gave your 1 year old and what sort of bedtime routine you have/had?

DS has about the same amount of supper his 2.8 yr old sister has - usually a small bowl of pasta with some sort of sauce (whether meat-based or veggie) - and then perhaps a yogurt. This is around 5.30. Then it's straight up for teeth, pyjamas, a story and lights out by 6pm. He's usually conked by 6.10.

Same here - in fact I think DD (just 1) is eating more than 2.6yo DS at the moment Confused. Usually rice, noodles, pasta, cheese on toast, that sort of thing plus fruit, yogurt and a cup of milk at 5pm. Bath by 6pm (a struggle since DD takes about an hour to eat), stories, (more milk and a banana if they had a small dinner with stories) teeth and bed at 6.30.

Well that didnt go too badly, only a minor tantrum for 5 mins when the milk was finished much sooner (90mls instead of 210mls). Hope she's had enough to eat, gave her veggie cottage pie with steamed veg and a banana for afters.

I thought I'd have to keep her up later but looks like you guys still put them to bed 6-6.30 so will try and stick to that. I need to move her into her own room as well but maybe will give it a week until she's used to her new dinner/milk routine. Smile

My nearly 1 year old has dinner at around 4.30pm. She has things like spaghetti bol, stew, chilli, pasta dishes, meat and veg followed by a yogurt or fruit. Then she goes up for her bath at 6pm, then polishes off 7oz cows milk at 6.30pm followed by teeth brushing, then bed. She's usually asleep by 7pm.

My nearly 1 year old usually has casserole, cottage pie, something like that from the freezer (I batch cook) and a little yogurt at 4.30-4.45. We have a play for a bit then watch Waybuloo with a bottle of cow's milk, downstairs. I've just switched him from having a bottle in his room last thing so that I can consistently do his teeth in the bath.

Then bath after waybuloo at 6.20, lots of splashing, teeth, and into pyjamas nad a story in his room. He's asleep by 6.45.

Other teas we sometimes have are: avocado on toast, pasta and pesto with added frozen peas and broad beans, spanish omelette (with potatoes I cook the night before), sardines and cream cheese mashed on toast.

At 1 year old, DS (now 2) was having a meal at 5ish (but not always his 'big' meal, often did that at lunchtime if easier), then 210mls of cows milk at around 6 - 6:30, bath at 6:30 - 6:45, sleep for 7.

My nearly-one year-old has the following on a typical day:

A bowl of yoghurt and a rusk for breakfast, then 6oz of milk at 10am naptime.

Lunch at 12 which is usually soup with bread added or puréed stew of some sort which I have batch cooked and frozen, followed by about half a second stage dessert jar. He has another 6oz of milk about 3pm before his nap. After his nap he will take some yoghurt if he's hungry.

Dinner at 5pm is again puréed stew or casserole, the rest of the jar of sweet, and 6oz of milk before bed at 7pm. He then has about 4oz at 11pm and sleeps through until about 7.30pm on a good night.

7.30am, that is!

My DD (17 months) has dinner at 5pm and stuff like fish fingers and veg or spag bol or stew etc.

She has a cup of whole milk at 6/6.30pm before bed then bath, teeth cleaned and bed at 7pm.

She has had this routine since she was about 1yo.
