Baby bjorn & how many layers?!

I'm always unsure how to dress my DD when using the Baby Bjorn sling. She's 14wks old. Tomorrow we will be out & about, on a train, in shops, outside, and I don't know how to dress her so she's not too cold outside or too hot inside. I have a fluffy snowsuit but it would be a pain to have to take it on & off all day!

I gave up trying to work that out & put Dp's big coat over us both. So she wears her ordinary clothes & has my coat over her.

I always wonder that myself so I tend to avoid using the babybjorn when there's a lot of in and out of places involved. I have seen people with a blanket around their babybjorn so it might work if you only put a fairly thin jacket on her but thibk trousers, a really warm hat and warm shoes that you can take off and pop on easily and then wrap your "parcel" up with a fleece blanket when outside.

Thanks for replies! I dressed her in a vest, sleepsuit & hooded cardi and we put the fleecy cover that you can get for the BB over her when outside. Hood on cardi handy cos could easily pull on or off. So no dressing/undressing required!!
