In your experience how long did it take your LO to catch your cold?

Hi all, I started feeling a bit rough Sunday night and a cold fully took hold last night, husband's started tonight. I'm sure my 8.5month old will get it but just wondered how long it might take for her to show symptoms, I'm really hoping she doesn't have it at Christmas but it's looking more and more likely. I haven't breastfed her since she was 4 months :( so not passing on any antibodies! Have been giving her satsumas today for vitamin c. Any ideas when it will rear its ugly head? Thanks

My DS has never caught any of my colds, and I've had a few stinkers over the past few years. Like you, I always think, oh no, he's bound to catch it from me, but he never does! Weird! Maybe it's a strange mum/child immune system thing, I don't know. He has however caught plenty from school but strangely enough I never get his colds either! Hope this is the same for you. Stock up on Calpol/Nurofen just in case though in time for the holidays

Same here - DS doesn't catch mine! I get his though.

If she did catch it - probably take a few days?
