So today we were at a Christmas/Birthday meal for a very good friend of mine.

There we all were, about 15 of us, all sitting in the pub drinking mulled wine, chatting, when DS's friend and his mum walks in greets everyone. They go to sit down. DS gets a little glint in his eye, waits until everyone's silent and then announces to the whole room:

'Friend! I have head lice!'

Ugh... que everyone laughing, edging away from DS and me dying of embarrassment and trying to explain that it's been treated.

When do they stop being so bloody embarrassing!?

Ds at aged 4 asked me...in the silence of a large group of people at his nursery school, waiting for the singing to start...

"Mummy, did you just trump?"

Godamned little shit.

DD is 7 and a dab hand at doing an impression of Ron Weasley in the first Harry Potter film: "That was bloody brilliant."

I have dared her to do it when we visit the in-laws for lunch later this week Xmas Grin
