12 week old projectile vomiting

DD has slept all day today-had to wake her to feed. At last feed she projectile vomited about half way through her bottle-it was a good 4 massive gushes (sorry to be gross). I gave her the rest of the bottle as she seemed fairly relaxed about it and still hungry. Called the GP and they said to come in (rather good service I thought-I didn't expect an immediate appointment) as she's also had constipation this week and diorrhea last week. She then did another giant projectile vomit in the GP's office-and then another. No temperature, nothing wrong in ears, stomach not hard, in short the GP said she can't find anything wrong. She suggested we give her next bottle at quarter strength and (bless her) said she'd see her again tomorrow morning and if she vomits again tonight to take her to A&E.

I'm so worried-GP was lovely and reassuring and I suppose in a way it's good that she couldn't find anything wrong, but I know I'm not going to sleep tonight. What if she vomits that much again while she's on her back? In the few seconds it takes me to get to her she could choke.

Sorry, there's really no point to this post. Just having a bit of a flail.

Poor wee thing Sad but it could just be a temporary blip. Don't worry too much about the vomiting: they are very good at clearing their own airways. You could always have her in bed with you if you're worried.

Have you recently changed what you're feeding your DD - e.g., moved from breastmilk to formula or anything like that?

Haven't changed anything-wondering if perhaps it was a dodgy carton? So horrid Sad She went to sleep pretty quickly this evening at any rate. GP said don't wake her to feed overnight but am so scared about dehydration.

Nobody tells you just how bloody terrifying being a parent is!!
