Strategies for helping a 2yo deal with her anger.

DD1 is 2.9, and gets angry and frustrated a lot. As I'm sure all toddlers do. I don't have a problem with that, but at the moment she's started dealing with it by throwing things on the floor. I want to teach her a better way of managing her anger- does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks.

what about thumping a pillow?
or throwing pillows or cushions on the floor

it is better to release anger
dc3 is 2.3yo and sometimes i yell with him, and we end up laughing - not always though.......

There are a few childrens books on this, can't remember what they are called may be another MNetter will know or a bit of googling may give you the names.
