Come and share your toddler's most unreasonable demands

My dd is an expert at it.

Whilst at the zoo yesterday " Mummy I want to feed the tigers" followed by a mild tantrun when I told her she couldn't "But I want to!"

Most demands are made when I'm in the midlle of something such as cooking dinner, washing up etc. Without fail she asks to go to the loo when there is something that needs to come out of the oven.

noblegiraffe there is an Eric Carle book about a girl whose daddy uses a ladder to reach the moon - i wonder if that is where it has come from? Xmas Smile

DS (3.1 at the time) dropped a milk bottle (proper glass one) on the hard kitchen floor and it smashed into smitherenes (sp?). Cue "Mummy, it's ruined, fix it Mummy, get glue and fix it....".

I was 39 weeks pg and my waters broke as I was scrubbing the milk off the floor. DS soon had other things on his mind. Smile

DD "I want my friends from nursery to come to mine own house"
Me "Um, okay."
DD "Yes. My friends come to mine own house and have a bath with me"
Me "A BATH? I think your friends can have baths at their own houses.."
DD "No. My friends have bath with me NOWWWWWW"

4yo DD: "Can I have a pet?"
Me: "You do have a pet! What about [family cat]?"
DD: "NO. I want a pet of my very OWN. Not one that's shared with you lot!"
