How much does your 16 month old eat?

Cause DD would not stop eating if she had the chance! I'm worried about whether I let her eat too much, or whether I should worry at all?

She has a cup of milk (just started, stopped BF last week) first thing, then a slice of toast and half a banana mashed into Greek yogurt for breakfast.

Normally the other half a banana for mid morning snack.

Lunch would be a cheesy omelette, sandwich, bowl of pasta...something like that.

An apple, some grapes or a couple of low salt savoury biscuits for mid avo snack.

Whatever we're having for dinner. Meat, veg, rice, pasta...whatever. maybe some fruit for ous.

Cup of milk at bed.

Sometimes she will eat loads, I mean, she will eat a portion of pasta that I would eat! Other days not so much.

She is quite tall, as are DH and I, and just looks like a normal girl her age with a lovely little belly.

But how much do most her age eat?

She sounds a lot like my dd1 who is now three and would still eat all day long! She's lost her pot belly now and is pretty tall.

Dd2 is 17mo and today had:

Breakfast: quarter of a slice of toast
Snack: yoghurt and half an apple
Lunch: small bowl of soup
Snack: stick of cucumber and humous
Dinner: fish potatoes and broccoli (ate two tatties and the top of a bit of broccoli don't think she touched the fish!)

She is still bf, has always been much smaller than dd1 at the same age and even when ebf didn't have a huge appetite.

I wouldn't worry so long as what she's eating is healthy, and it sounds like it is! At that age especially I'd trust her to know how much she needs and to stop when she's full.

Sounds like more than my DD who is also 15 months would eat. My DD eats very small portions, but as she hardly ate anything till she was about 12 months, this is a big improvement.
Today was a nursery day and she eats more than usual beccause she has no BFs.
breakfast: a whole 1 egg and cheese omlette on the way to nursery. i was stunned by this as normally she will only eat 1 or 2 pieces max.
at nursery she had some cereal.
Lunch - vegetable stew - apparently she ate it all
snack - waldorf salad and bread - again ate it all
snack on the way home - a bit of banana
Dinner - nearly a whole fillet of salmon, couple of mouthfuls of polenta and some raw red pepper and a bit of aubergine. coupel of chunks of pear.

today was a big eating day. Most days she eats less than this, someday only about a 1 meals worth, so it really varies.

She has lots of breastfeeds too.

It varies so much. When he's storing up a growth spurt then he eats for England and grows a little paunch. Then he grows and decides he's going to play with the food instead for a week or so. What your DD is eating sounds like DS on a hungry day.

DD 16 months varies from day to day, some days she'll eat hardly anything but when she is eating her diet a typical day might go like this

cup of milk on waking
breakfast - shredded wheat and fruit
lunch - fish fingers, veg, fruit, yoghurt
dinner - scrambled egg on toast, fruit, rice pudding
bedtime - cup of milk

She doesn't have snacks every day but when she does it might be a biscuit or cheese string or a bit whatever I'm eating that shes taken a liking too.
