Whenever my DS has a poo or just pumps it is really smelly. He is breastfeeding.

Is this normal?

Er, what sort of smelly?

modsaluk · 04/01/2006 22:29

Like a rotten egg sort of smell.

Sounds normal to me. It's poo, it won't smell like daisies! DS's exclusively bfed poo was eggy or cheesy, iirc. Not something I wanted to wear behind my ears

Totally normal. Always remember being on the phone to my mum, and her colleague opened a homemade egg sandwich, and mum said to me "thats really weird, I can almost smell DD" then she realised it was her colleague's sandwich

Whenever anyone is there when he lets one go, they comment on how smelly he is, was starting to get worried it was not normal.

Glad to know it is normal. Thanks
