Really struggling for main present idea for my eldest daughter, she'll be 7 in december. Can think of lots of small things (Hama beads, craft supplies, books) She'd probably love something electronic but i'm not that keen as I think she'd probably never surface from playing with it Grin I had wondered about one of those fur real toys but the reviews seem a bit mixed. Any ideas?

I have 2 DDs, 7 & 9.
Favorites in our house are:
Lego - especially Harry Potter Leo
Lala Loopsies - DDs have been collecting the little dolls, and are looking for the Lala Loopsie tree for Xmas

I have an 6.5 year old (but she is getting a DS for Christmas , But she is also on the look out for Lala Loopsies which and this is my point Grin Argos and Smyths have reduced.

I was also in the Disney Store yesterday and the they have lovely stationery sets in jewellery type boxes reduced to £15 .

She is a bit meh about Fur Real, but she does like the big rabbit one.

Saw the fur real animals in the flesh today - the dog/cat were not remotely cuddly and i was quite scared by the rabbit, it looks demented.

However, i did find something i think she'll love - got her the nano hex bots with the elevated habitat. Hoping she'll like it. Not a girly gift but then she's not that girly a girl! Thanks for the suggestions, she's been playing with lego with her dad all afternoon so that was spot on, will take a look at lala loopsie - haven't heard of them (still forcing encouraging the kids to stick to advert free tv (hence lack of ideas for gifts!)
