I used cloth nappies for 2 years with DD, stored them for 6 months and am now using them again for DS (3 months old). I have some microfibre BumGenius and some bamboo Popins and Nature Babies Stuffables. The Popins started getting holes in after about 6 months, and they replaced the inserts - they said it was caused by Tesco washing powder (Eco friendly stuff) and also adding vinegar to the wash to soften them. They advised only using Ecover liquid.
