Good price moses basket

Hi,

Our 6 week old is currently sleeping in the carrycot off our travel system. He's rapidly growing out of it length-wise unfortunately as its not all that big. I don't really want to put him in the cot bed yet so need a moses basket. We are pretty strapped just now. Any recommendations on a cheap and reasonable quality moses basket?

Thanks

How much do you want to spend? We got a John Lewis one for £35 which was fine (similar to you we were using the travel system but ended up getting a basket)

I don't think that a moses basket would be much bigger than a carry cot. My dd had grown out of her moses basket by about 3 months.

If you really want one, I would suggest you look on ebay or local classifieds, I bought mine second hand, it was immaculate and I sold it for the same amount about 6 months later.

Definitely buy one second hand check local paper, Nct nearly new sale or a car boot or something. They are quite expensive new and use for such a short time. If you already have a cot could you just put this into your room and try baby in that?
Tip: if you do go for the basket measure it then order your mattress online, so much cheaper we bought one for about £6.99 in John Lewis/mothercare etc they are £20
