Help i need advice, a member of dd's class is in hospital with suspected meniningococcal disease, hoping and praying he will be ok.

selfish moment, I dont know if to send dd into school. the official advice is to send them in but i am not sure. anyone been in this situation?

Hopefully by now you will have taken your child to school.
I think it's doubtful that the school would give you false advice to keep their attendance figures up and equally doubtful that your DD could 'catch' it from touching something.
Fingers crossed for a positive outcome to this for the sick child.

thanks rips, i have taken dd to school. think i was just having a bit of a silly wobble. My thoughts and prayers are with the boy's family.
