How do you use a sleepsuit?

Last winter I put DS in a vest, babygro and fleecey sleepsuit. Should I do similar this year? He's 19 months. Does anyone use pyjamas and sleepsuits and a grobag? He's normally in a vest, PJs and a bag. I'm a little confused as last winter was a bit of a blur. He likes to be cosier than the recommendations that come with a grobag.

DD is 19mo, she sleeps in a vest, pyjamas, a sheet and then two blankets (one cellular, one fleece) and more blankets will go on as it gets colder. I can imagine the reception I'd get if I attempted to put her in a sleeping bag!

Until he was nearly 3 DS slept in a babygro (or pyjamas as he got older), a vest in winter and a sleeping bag. I varied the 'tog' of the sleeping bag depending on the season and he was always lovely and warm.

When it was really cold I just put an extra blanket over him.

DS is 23 months and is in a bed now so we can't use a sleeping bag. He is also rubbish at staying under his duvet. At the moment he's in a vest and fleecy sleepsuit. If it gets a lot colder, we'll put him in a babygro underneath the fleecy one too. Unlikely though as our house is quite warm. He also likes to be warmer than is suggested.

DD is 2.7 and wears a vest under her pyjamas now, also socks if it's cold, and has a duvet with an extra blanket if it's really cold. DS 11m wears a long-sleeved vest plus a fleecy sleepsuit plus a sleeping bag and has either a duvet or blanket over him as well. He also likes to be warmer than all the guidance tells you.

DS is 20 months. Currently sleeping in grobag & pj top only. On colder nights I've put pj trousers on too.

DS of 17 months mainly sleeps in PJs with a vest underneath and a sleeping bag. Tonight i've put him in a fleecy sleepsuit (and sleeping bag) but i've not put a vest on as its not that cold yet. Will do later in the winter

It depends on how warm your house is. Right now DS room is 21c, hes in long sleeve vest and 2.5 tog sleeping bag. You get to know what your DS is comfortable with but you need to keep an eye on room temp and take or add layers if appropiate. I check room temp every night b4 deciding what clothes to put him in.

We used sleepsuit and varying sleeping bag depending on the temp. Never used a fleecy slsepsuit.
