Slippers or socks that actually stay on!?

Now it's starting to get abit chillier i'd like the girls to wear slippers around the house. We have hardwood floors which can be abit chilly at times.

Both DD's slippers keep sliding off. Ive tried slipper boots, velcro ones, elasticated ones but they all seem to come off. We have a shoe rack full of blooming slippers!
Tried slipper socks but DD2 keeps pulling her socks anyway and just done the same with these too. Could be her age (17mths) but doesn't help when her feet are freezing cold.

What slippers do your DC have that dont fall/slip off?

None!

Wasn't falling off that is the problem with DTDs, but a total refusal to wear them! Even now (2.6) they run around our (wooden) floors in bear feet, regardless of season, and don't seem to care.

Tights helped - they tried to pull them off for a while, but gave up when it was so difficult but now they can take those off too and frequently do when in the house.

They might be better of without - they used to make DS fall over.

Now he's a bit older (2), I've found gap socks to be the best for staying on - they also have gripped soles (in the form of "baby gap" written on the soles). They are miles better than any slipper socks or other socks - they haven't lost their shape or elasticity compared to socks from mothercare/next/m&s

h&m and boots do little moccasin type slippers with grips on the bottom, really thick and warm and they are like chnky socks and they stay on feet!

Get ones that they actually want.... The biggest problem for us was DS taking them off. Last year he chose ridiculous scooby doo ones in the shape of the dog eating a burger and you couldn't get them off his feet for love nor money... This year we have dinosaur feet from Next www.next.co.uk/x484772s4

These Robeez soft-soled shoes work well for our DD....

These with a zip stayed on really well with dd as a (walking) young toddler.

We have tights with Next socks over the top here. They have a really deep turn over bit on them and never come off - the only ones we have found like it!
