He is 10 11 December and I cannot get trousers that fit him properly.
They are mostly too tight on the waist, occasionally too big on the waist.
Too short, or too long.
Its a nightmare and ds has no patience to try them on either.
Its seems to be more of a problem with jeans I have had to resort to elasticated waists as thats all that seems to fit him.
He is not overweight or anything so whats going on.
Anyone else with the same problem.

Yes...my 10 year old son is similar.
10 year trousers are too small. 11 year trousers are toooooo big.

Yes, I have noticed this problem with my DS just in the last couple of years. I take up trousers, we buy belts, he tucks his shirt in, he leaves his shirt out ....

He hates trying on school trousers so that's always a nightmare.

Luckily he's now 14 and just able to fit XS or S men's sizes, which are better fitting, but we have to pay the VAT on those.

It's odd, though. Did the boy 'template' in the UK change or something?
