if its shortly after xmas, lots of art and craft and send then as thank yous for presents your toddler got!

MAgic! it has to be, you just tell him you are going to make him disapear, count up to three, say the magic words and then pretend you can not find him, they love it

hiding things - you need one item, one blanket, and then you hide item under blanket and say things like "Is it.... upstairs?"

"No"

"Is it.... on the telly?"

"no"

"Is it ... under the blanket?"

"yeahhhhhh!!!"

Sorry non of those are going to beat sticking Bob in yet another pull up and going to the beach, zoo, library, art gallery, gondola, ferry, kiwi park, museum, tram, bus...

On the plus side he asks to be taken to the toilet every time we are out, it's just home that's the problem.
