How do I explain to a 2 yo that her best friend ismoving to Australia?

How do you get a two year old to understand that not seeing her bf is not a punishment but that shes just too far away?

May be explain the friend is going on an adventure...keep in touch via post, email etc. Make the adventure sound exciting so your little one is excited for them..

Don't worry about it. At two she will forget who her bf is within a couple of weeks of leaving. Believe me!!!!

You can't. A 2 year old won't have a clue. Just say she is on a long holiday or something that might just make sense to a 2 year old.
