8 week old daughter has become unhappy with me overnight

Hi,

I'm father to an amazing 8 week old girl. Up till Friday night she was fantastic with me - we'd developed a great bond and she'd stop crying instantly with me.
Last two nights she's completely gone off me - none of the old techniques are working (i.e I'd hold her specific ways, sing songs that would keep her quiet).

It's been a tough two days, and I'm not sure why this has happened. Anyone experienced anything similar?

Just when you think youve cracked something, they change their minds and it stops working. Dont worry, your daughter hasnt gone off you, shes just a bit more unsettled, keep going, the old techniques will work again and you may find some new tricks aswell.

It won't be you. Don't take it personally.

Teeth/growth spurt/hunger/sleep issues all rear their ugly heads at some point or another. Maybe she's ill.

Never take it personally though.
