"Why are you so angry mummy?"

That is what dd1 asked me yesterday as I tried to get us all ready to go to the Post Office .

dd2 was getting into everything and trying to get my scissors and cellotape and EVERYTHING was getting on my nerves. I think I may have been a bit loud.

I said that I was not angry, just cross as dd2 would not stay where she was put and she said "put her in her then chair mummy" and carried on playing.

Such sense from a 3 year old.

Anyone know where I can get some patience from?

I need it baaaaaad sometimes. I felt a right shit when she said it, her big blue eyes, sob.

They are both so lovely and are good children. Bloody christmas stress, why do I have to send the cards to relatives I DO NOT KNOW AND HAVE NEVER MET?

I had the last from then some time ago.

Yes, OO, my DD1 frequently cuts through my temper with such sensibilities - she clearly takes after her dad....

My 12 year old keeps accusing me of being "stressy"!

My ds says, 'you aren't really cross are you mummy? Just illustrated in your mind'

I think he means 'irritated'.
