How do I cope? I wasn't expecting this for years yet.

He played Joseph to her Mary in the school play. His favourite song in the play was the one she did a solo dance to.

He kissed her last thursday at school, and she kissed him back!!
She has given him a Christmas Card that says in it "Yoo ar my boyfrend" (a bit menacing I think).

Yesterday I had to hear all about what games they played at playtime, and when ds got in the bath he told me to go away and give him "some privacy to think about Kayleigh"

Arghhhhhh Help.

Aaaaaaah! His first crush. On the one hand it's quite sweet and it's a new emotional experience for him, but on the other hand he's still your little boy!!!!!!!! My ds is 3 and he only loves boys at the moment - but hey, that may never change! I love the "Yoo are my boyfriend" thing, very direct and scary tee-hee.

ROFL @ 'some privacy to think about Kayleigh'

aren't they hilarious?

LOL!

both my older two are engaged, one is on his second! Sam called the first one off when we moved, and met his new Fiancee . They're inseparable- they kiss, ballroom dance in the playground, the lot- and when another girl declared her love for Sam, he told her he couldn't because 'when you've kissed someone you have to stay with them'.

Not certain Stirling's fiancee is aware of it, mind you!

Given how much Sam hates to be touched, I find it both wonderful and damned hilarious!!!

(Actually just remembered a fiancee at Nursery, he's on theird now!!!)

So sweet! Apparently in ds's Y2 class they have it all worked out who is whose boyfriend/girlfriend. Ds had a serious crush on his reception/Y1 teacher, and went into a major decline when she took some leave to go back to South Africa. He ended up having to sleep in my bed because he kept sobbing, and woke me up at 6am to tell me "I love miss X mummy, all my friends say that's stupid, but I really do."

This year he's transferred his affections to a certain Annabel in his class, but I fear he may be out of his league as she's 9 months older than him, extremely bright and very gorgeous. He clearly has good taste, though.
