Is baby ready for weaning?

DS is 20 weeks on Friday, weighs 15lb10oz and is solid and chunky. Until last week he was sleeping through the night with maybe one moment of self settling in the night. He's also been close to teething (I think) plus had a cold (which is finished).

Over the Last couple of days while seeming well in himself he's lost all interest in milk? He's barely taking half what he normally would. Is this a sign to wean ??

Not necessarily. If he's lost his appetite it could be that he's still got a cold or a sore throat or something. Check that first.

Sounds unwell to me.

Sounds I'll- signs for weaning are completely different- at 20 weeks he is probably just coming down with something. If you are intent on weaning do the banana test.

I have been wondering today if it's the teething as it's the whole fist in mouth etc. Thanks ladies.
