YES!
You'll get advice, not from me as i've never done it but 4 weeks is DEFINATELY too young!!!!
He can't learn anything at that age, hew jsut needs love and TLC!

IMO 4 weeks is far too young for controlled crying. At that age if he cries then he needs you and he's certainly not ready to sleep through the night without being fed.

YES!! 6 months is the youngest recommended age!!

i dont expect him to go through the night without being fed - he generally wants to be fed every 3/4 hours - its just that sometimes after being fed he doesnt settle very easily - even if he has been winded etc etc so i wondered if he is just very tired and needs to learn how to fall asleep? I sound like a terrible mum dont I?!

dear god yes
why would you want to leave him to cry valentine? what is it you are trying to adjust.

SnowmAngeliz · 19/12/2005 13:30

No valentine, you don't or you probably wouldn't bother to ask

My dd1 would settle alot quicker than dd2, she wanted to be held all the time, she's getting easier now though.
Hope you get some more constructive+

right then, that's not controlled crying you;re talking about
yes he may well be overtired or overstimulated
how does he fall asleep usually?
