Cotbed mattress problem (Babies R Us) Anyone else had a problem?

I ordered a cotbed and cotbed mattress from Babies R Us and the mattress just rests on top of the sides and dips in the middle which touches the slats. Does anyone elses do this? Is it supposed to? My daughter has been sleeping in the cot and can roll over fine, it just seems strange. I've tried to squidge it in, but it is too big. I've checked the sizing and it's all correct.

haha glad you got it sorted. that's the exact kind of thing i would do!

i once had a massive strop because ds1's train track set had the wrong pieces in and wouldn't go together properly. had a right old rant about cheap tesco toys.

then i realised it was because the pieces of track are double sided and i just needed to turn a couple over

OMG I've got the same problem! Only just started putting him in his cot. Will have to check if it's upside down - what a PiTA!
