Boys ballet classes in London?

I'm looking for a boys ballet class (or boy-friendly class) for my 6yr old. We are in north London but prepared to travel. Does such a thing exist? All the local classes are full of teeny weeny girls in pink tutus.

Where are you?

Google Lucy Harmer School of Ballet - boys do that (not that many, but some)

all classes should take boys.

ds1 has been in three different ballet schools, all of whom have been thrilled beyond belief to have him.

but tbh he'd better get used to being on his own. boys doing ballet are few and far between. and he'll just have to put up with the frilly girls in pink - and the majority view that it's 'their' class and he shouldn;t be doing it.

have you actually spoken to the teachers? they'll bite your arm off.

ds wore a white leotard and black jazz pants (or black cycling style shorts for exams etc)

Once there is one boy in class there may be more in future. DS started out as only boy in class 2 years ago, now there are 4 boys.

Not in North London tho, sorry.

A ballet school just for boys does exist in London. They have classes for ages 4 to 14yrs and are based near Angel tube. www.BoysBalletLondon.com

Hope that helps.
