Does it work quite well? I am fed up of my job and I really feel that I need to study to improve my chances of getting a better job, but worry about not working atall, then worrying about course fees etc.

I am thinking of doing a business studies degree, then later teaching business studies... Smile

Yep, I'm a single mum work 20 hours a week and study part time with Open Uni.
I find it's a good balance between work study and homelife, and because I'm on a low income from working part time I get all my courses funded so it costs me nothing.

Don't know what the costs would be for a brick uni though.....hopefully someone else can help with that :)

I do, but I only work 5.5 hours a week.
And my course is classed as full time but I only go into class one day a week.
I'm doing Business aswell.
