Hi all, don't know if anyones come up against this one- my DS is 11mo old and he freaks, and i mean freaks when anyone, especially me or DH, blows our nose in the same room as him! I mean, hyperventilating, hysterical screams, the lot! and he has seperation anxiety now too so I cant leave the room to do anything without him going crazy about that. I have allergies , so I guess I do have to blow my nose quite often. Has anyone had this?!

Does he react strongly to other sudden loud noises - hand dryer, sneezes blender etc?

Nose-blowing can be much louder to those in close proximity than the blower realises. It used to scare DS witless when my dad performed his foghorn nose-blow around him.

Actually, he is terrified of the hoover as well!
