Basically, what is the main idea in any parenting books you've read/recommend? I saw the no cry discipline solution recommended but don't know what it's main idea/ strategy-philosophy is.
I like "how to talk so kids will listen and listen so kids will talk". I'd sum it up as empathise with your children and make sure they know you do, logical consequences not punishment. There's more but I can't remember!
How would you sum up other books that were/ are helpful to you?
