first feed of the day - advice

Hi
I bottle feed and have a question - my DD always seems to sick up and fuss the first feed of the day (around 7am). She never really sicks up any other time of day, but it's a battle feeding her, and I don't quite understand why she seems to be like this first thing in the morning.

Any advice?

is she actually ready for the feed? My DD wakes up when we get up for work or if her brother disturbes her but sometimes won't have her first bottle for 30-40 mins. If for reasons of routine you need to give her the bottle then, maybe cut down the amount - just give her half then and hold the rest back?
