size difference between startrite and clarks

hi my little boy was measured as a 9f in clarks and have seen some startrites on line size 9g. i have read that startrite come up a little bigger but a bit narrower? any experiences? thank you very much

Yes at least hafl a size difference so he'd proably need an 8 1/2, not so sure about width though. You can order a gauge online.

My DS measured a 5.5f for clarks but 5f in start rite, not sure that helps
