Soundproofing

Hi, this isnt about parenting but wasnt sure where to put it -

basically in a couple months me, DH and DS (10mo) are all moving in with my dad for a while to save some money. Trouble is, the room where we will have to put DS has rather noisy neighbours and DS is a light sleeper. Really worried! I want to 'sound proof' the wall if I can, but I dont know how, or how expensive it would be. Do any of you (or your DP's) have any ideas??

Thanks!!

You'd be amazed what babies can sleep through. We've had band practice in our living room with DD asleep upstairs, and builders for months who hammer, drill and generally racket about with blithe abandon during DC naps.

Bookshelves, cupboards, wardrobe, extra rugs down on floor even over carpet, framed pictures, wall hangings, generally just put stuff in the room, especially against party wall.
