My sons are so angry!

I have two DS's, 9 and 4.5 yo. When they get upset, they get ANGRY, and start wrecking my house, pulling chairs upside down, ripping papers, throwing the laundry down the stairs etc...

This is just not on obviously, but how can I teach them to express their anger in an acceptable way, how do I discipline them when it happens, and are there any books that can help?

My oldest DS gets sarcastic when I try to put him in time out, and generally, discipline has no effect on him.

Please help!

Try - How to talk so kids will listen - a good book for all family discussions / arguments.

I second reading 'How to talk so kids will listen and listen so kids will talk.'
