Dd is 2 n a half bin trying to potty train her. Around the house i leave her to run without any nappy or knickers on and she does really well uses toilet as refuses to use potty, but not 1 accident. The minute i put her in knickers she has an accident daren't leave house unless she is in pull ups. I tried numerous times with knickers wets them everytime.....HELP

This happened to me with DS1. With DD2 I went from nappies to knickers (didn't do the bare bum thing) and it was much better. With DS1 I just had to keep at it. I kept the pants on and put up with all the accidents. He got it finally (I think it took about a week). I made a game up of it "need a wee? ooooo quick lets see how quickly we can get the pants off. Oooo that was really quick!" I personally do not see the point of pull-ups I think it is confusing for them (someone is bound to disagree with me!) but then I always was able to potty train in the summer. Wet clothes in winter when out is not nice I suppose - brrrrr!
