Hi all,

My 9 month old has a cold and a bit of a temperature. She just wants to sit cuddled up with me, so we're cuddling up watching TV. Is this ok do you think?

Thanks

have you given her calpol for the temperature? If so, not alot more you can do. push fluids though.

Hope she feels better soon.

Yep, she had calpol 2 hours ago, she's eating but not as much as normal. Drinking water ok though!

Just feel a bit guilty sat watching tv with her, but she just wants to sit on my knee!

Thanks

Cuddles are the best thing for ill children! Plus fluids of course, and Calpol. But the cuddle often makes them feel better than anything more "practical".

Cuddles all the way. DD had a horrendous cold when she was 9mo and only wanted to breastfeed (had a blocked nose and used to just bite me in frustration) and the only way she could nap was sitting on my lap facing in and cuddled in to me. Quickest route to betterville.
