What goes in your nappy bucket?

I haven't got completely to grips with nappies yet (DC1 due in 3 weeks!) but I think I have most of what I need to get started with reusables. I have a lidded bucket with a Bumgenius pail liner, but I keep seeing references to putting drops of oil in the bucket. What do you use and what is it for please?

i use teatree oil and i put a couple of drops in the lid, I use it to hide the nappy smell and t does a pretty decent job

Dirty nappies, nothing else!

Net bag inside which nappies and wraps are chucked. Occasionally a couple of drops of tea tree oil if things are getting niffy (like when it's really hot!). That's all!

I use lavender, couple of drops in the bottom before the net goes in.

I put a few drops of oil in the fabric conditioner part of the drawer when I do a wash but nothing in my nappy bucket apart from dirty nappies and wipes.
