Hello

my ds is a lovely, happy, smiley little boy who loves cuddles and is very affectionate but is also very aggressive. As soon as he doesn't get his own way or is tired he bites, scratches, pulls hair and hits. It is largely directed towards his dd who is 2 years older and who doesn't retaliate just gets upset or tells us about it. I was hoping there would be someone who could give some advice, we have tried ignoring, removing him from the situation, telling him off and it still carries on. Yesterday he left dd with a purple bite mark on her arm!

Thanks for any suggestions

One thing you could do is show him positive gentle behaviour. Praise him when bei g gentle, encourage him to gently stroke and pat his sister. Focus on his good behaviour.

Also focus attention on 'victim' when it happens. Ignore him and give DD lots of cuddles.

thank you we will try that, hopefully it will do some good foe poor dd too.

Having only the one I'm not sure but boys do seem to have more 'grrr' inside them Grin.

It really worries me. A few weeks back he had a tantrum in a public place, a lady came over to see if she could help and he tried to kick her Shock. Luckily he missed, but there was intention there. I am mostly the one that he hits out at. Noone believes me when I say it as generally he is really lovely, but as soon as he doesn't get his way it's straight into hitting etc.
