Looking for some advice/recommendations from those of you who holiday in warmer climates.
Out little one is almost 2 and we are considering a holiday abroad next year. The thing is we never holiday abroad so don't really know where to start! We're thinking France or Spain. Definitely want to be self catering, ideally with pool? We're after a cottage type holiday - definitely don't want a resort. (Not wanting to offend- resorts just not our kind of thing) Would also be great if there was lots to do nearby. We're in Scotland, so thinking of flying and then hiring a car.
Rather than spend HOURS googling what we're after I thought some of you may be able to point me in the right direction!
