As the title says, really. DD knows that daddy put a seed in mums tummy to make her brother, but now she's asking how the seed got there. I could get all scientific, but I want to pitch it for her age, so I need some recommendations please!

Claire Rayner's 'The Body Book' (available off eBay). Worked for me 30 years ago and I have it lined up for my two (7 & 5) soonish.

This is a rather pro-marriage Christian one.

My 6 year old liked "mummy laid an egg". I think it might be for younger children and is very "silly" but it explains that mummy and daddy fit together in lots of different ways and has the cartoon pics of mummy straddling daddy to prove it!

My Dc think it is hilarious and now know that a penis fits inside a vagina and don't seem any the traumatised for that.
