I know how you feel ! My DD is a little older and has calmed down a lot over the last year but has always been challenging. It could be because she is an only child??? Anyway, I always tried to talk to her calmly and try to understand her point of view and find out what was going on at school\with friends etc. Its easy to lose your temper in frustration but count to ten and walk away and try try try again!
