Present for 6 year old girl

Hi all, wasn't sure where to post this so hope it's ok here.

My sDD's birthday is next week, she's going to be 6. DH and I really have no idea what to buy for her. She loves reading and books but has hundreds. She also loves her DS but I think she plays it too much so am loathe to buy any more games.

She's not really one for dolls or plastic animal things (e.g little pet shop etc).

Any inspiration would be appreciated

Crafty stuff. My 5 and 7 yo DDs love messing about with kits to make their own doorbell, windchimes, bracelets, hair slides etc. I hate it, but it's not about me

my best idea ever for my daughter-- I got a desk at a second hand shop (25 pounds), a lovely old one with a writing surface that folds down and lots of cubbies and little drawers. I filled it with paper, pens, glue, stickers, and all sorts of office supplies. This is still her favourite possession.

CD player and some books on CD or a keyboard.

my dd is almost 6 and obsessed with lego - the large pink box for girls is £20 approx and is fab! She also likes polly pocket swap shop (loves in fact!), also good for that age are:

roller boots
pop up play tents
outdoor games such as "sports day sets"
fancy dress outfits - any kind esp disney
hang bags, wigs etc
baking sets

art and craft are hit and miss as i find some like aqua beads/ play doh etc messy and a waste of money. DD does like moon sand though.
