Reading while ds sitting on the potty

Anyone else's child worked out that if they sit on the potty they get a story - rather than doing anything he says potty, then story then sits there quite comfy while I read to him and nothing comes out. Cheeky little monkey.......

lol, sounds like my little guy! He used to do that, but grew out of it after a few weeks. he now likes to perch on his potty, fully clothed, to eat lunch! He thinks it is quite a comfy seat! I stopped the story on potty, by reading one or two stories for him depending on length and if he wanted another but had not done anything yet, I let him read to himself. He will now sit and read whenever he goes!

My DS did this, so I stopped stories on the potty. Maybe suggest a story if he has a wee/poo on the potty instead? Or start using the toilet as soon as he can last that long..
