To Rock or not to Rock??

Hi, new to the site so sorry if I get anything wrong.

I have a Daughter who is 9 weeks old and won't sleep during the day without being constantly rocked/cuddled/pushed(in pram)/etc etc. Unsure if to let this carry on and deal with when she's a couple of months older or to nip in the bud now. Also have an older son and can't for the life of me remember what we used to do with him. However, he does and always has slept like an angel, so would be helpful if I could remember!

She screams like a banshee and has a bloody awful temper too!

Personally i am a big believer in doing whatever it takes...especially at this tender age!

Everything changes so quickly she'll probably want something different in four weeks time. If not you can reasses (or buy one of those gizmos that rocks the pram for you )

yep, do what ever it takes while she is so little. We did but one of those gizmo's that rocks the pram - big waste of money as ds stopped needing to be rocked really quickly. Had forgotten about that til moonface mentioned it.

Maybe you could sell it to the op

haha, its one of those things that you buy in desperation isn't it, i don't think it would be fair to prey on OP in her sensitive state - although we did also get a really cheap bouncy chair and that was worth every penny cos you can bounce it with your foot while you watch TV and DS would nod off really quickly.
