Would you take an 11 month old baby to play at a friend's house if they were recovering from D&V? If baby was still diarrhoea-y and came into close contact with other babies?

My DD is 11 months. What's the course of action should she develop it?

Fingers crossed you'll all be ok. A friend of mine did this (well, still does it actually, but I have been avoiding playdates recently because her youngest is a bit of a handful. She would just turn up and say, "glad to get out of the house, * has been throwing up for two days...".

If your child does get it, just make sure you have clean bedding at hand! Nothing worse than scrabbling around for sheets at 3am. Other than that, plenty of fluid. They can manage without food for quite a while at that age, but need fluid. X
