I have day with DS2 tomorrow. I work 4 days a week but seem to spend my day off dragging him around on errands.

Tomorrow I am not going to.

But have completely forgotten what else to do Shock.

Ideas please.

Go to the park if it's nice, soft play if it's not? A local farm? The library? A bit of painting?

That's what I've done recently with mine.

Warm = teddy picnic on the grass... park, farm, sandpit

Rain = indoor play centre, library, drawing, playdough, baking, splash with kitchen bowl and unbreakable things

Have fun!! Smile

I had a day like that today. We went and played at the park and then had a treat from the coffee shop to hold us until lunch.

Of course, he fell asleep in his pram on the way home and I wasn't hungry so we didn't actually have lunch until very very late!

If you tend to drive everywhere could you take a bus or a train trip? We used to spend hours at the station when DS was that age.

Pack a few sandwiches and just have a picnic somewhere?
