Arrgggg complete mental block - TMA due in on Thursday

I am so stressed, I'm doing K342 'Enhancing the patient experience' and the first TMA is due in on Thursday. It's only 1500 words so I figured I'd get most of it done today (Monday is my child free day, ds's at school and pre school) but i've got myself more and more confused.

It's bloody critical analysis that's getting me. I have to write about a patient journey, and it says to critially analyse the challenges to the patient. So basically the things that have worried my patient before they came in to hospital, for example, my chap didn't want to be stuck in bed for days on end, how do I CA that?

Thanks, I needed to rant. I've emailed my tutor, and posted on the course forum so hopefully will get some advice soon.

So, I'm not sure if this will help, but I am putting off doing a TMA which is due next week.

This is from an old "critically assess" TMA.

To critically assess you need to firstly explain the view, then evaluate it.
You need to think carefully about a structure which will allow you to do both of these things.
You need to determine the value of the statement/argument, and then weigh it up, giving evidence in support and against.
Good answers will present a clear structure, and examine and assess the idea in a precise and clear way, presenting relevant evidence and examples as appropriate.
You need to reach conclusions about them by weighing up considerations for and against. This does not mean either endorsing them or rejecting them as a whole. You might find reasons and evidence to support some aspects and not others.

This was a level one course, and if yours want 1500 words, they are likely to be looking for more. But it would be a start.

I hope you get guidance from your tutor soon,

Must get on with mine - DCs will be in in a minute. Smile

Thanks mustdash, this is great I can understand what it means!

this one is a level 3, the first level 3 I've done. Think I'm overthinking and panicking a bit.

What is it you're doing?

Psychology hopefully in the end. This was from DD101, the Social Science module.

Hope you are done by now!
