Wool Nappy Covers in summer

Littlepants have a 50% off customs at the moment, and they are so gorgeous, but does anyone use wool in the summer for keeping LO cooler, or do you think they are too hot for summer. The evaporation should keep them cooler really, but has anyone noticed a difference?

I've got some of the Imse Vimse wool wraps and notice a huge difference - he can get too cold at night if I use one - his bottom feels icy instead of steaming hot!

They are just nappy wrap shaped though, not like leggings, which I think would be a bit warm in summer.
